Online 2025 Music Student Handbook

Welcome to the online music program at Valley City State University (VCSU), a pioneer and national leader in accredited online music education.

We offer a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science in Music, as well as stand-alone certificates in Piano Pedagogy and Composition. As a student here, you can be confident in the quality of your education—VCSU is fully accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music, and our courses are taught by highly qualified faculty.
