Resolving the "Unable to Connect" Issue with Verity Browser Extension
If you’re encountering the 'Unable to Connect with Verity Browser Extension' error when trying to open your proctored assessment, please make sure you’ve clicked the 'Verity Portal' under Books & Tools on the right side of your Blackboard screen. Also, ensure your browser is up to date, and check if the Verity extension is enabled in your browser’s settings.

How to Access the Verity Portal in Your Blackboard Course:
- On the right side of your course, under the Details & Actions menu, click the Books & Tools link labeled 'View course & institution tools.'

- Scroll down to the bottom and click YuJa Verity - Portal.

- Wait for the portal to load, which will authenticate your account. Once the page populates, you can either close it or follow the prompts if you haven't yet installed the required Browser Extension or Lockdown App for your course.
